Glennon Brothers Timber Ltd. – Longford

Glennon Brothers Timber Ltd was founded in 1913 in Longford, Ireland. Over the years the business evolved from sawing hardwoods for a range of indigenous uses to today’s highly sophisticated softwood operation supplying both the Irish and UK markets.

Glennon Brothers Cork Ltd. – Fermoy

Glennon Brothers acquired the plant in Fermoy, County Cork, from The Smurfit Group in 1998. The mill is situated on a 60-acre site on the outskirts of Fermoy. A €27 million investment in the site makes this sawmill one of the most technologically advanced in Europe. The state-of-the-art production line is among the most modern in the world, with log input controlled by a computer operator from a remote control tower.

Windymains Timber Ltd. – Humbie, Edinburgh

Windymains Timber, located in Humbie, near Edinburgh, is a specialist fencing and treated timber mill with an annual production capacity of 50,000m3.

Dempsey Timber Engineering – Arklow, Co. Wicklow

Dempsey Timber Engineering, specialise in the supply and installation of Timber Frame Homes and Engineered Roof Trusses to the construction industry and also to one off self builders.

Glennon Brothers (UK) LTD – Troon

Glennon Brothers (UK) LTD formally Adam Wilsons is a fifth generation family business, and is one of the largest sawmills in the UK, employing over 100 people. Glennon Brothers (UK) LTD specialises in kiln dried carcassing, fencing, pallet and packaging material.
